Lawsonia Inermis

Few days ago I did a Hennè tatoo in a etnic shop on the back of my hand, so I was inspired in doing this quick illustration about it and the artist who made the tatoo.

For those who doesn't know what hennè is, it is a natural dye extract from a plant, the "Lawsonia inermis".
It's used mainly in India and Egypt to colour hair and make temporary tatoos, which lasts, more or less, two weeks.
The colour it gaves to hair and tatoos is a particular and beautiful red
